Build log · Correction

“The time is out of joint.”

Quotation: Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 5.

A targeted data correction addressed the documented come/doom failure and turned a known gap into regression coverage.

In brief

The correction added cited lexical data and ordering fixes, increased the validation set to 69 rows, and reached 62 passes, zero failures and seven explicitly documented flags.

Correct the source, then test the consequence

The earlier hand check had made the gap visible in an important rhyme class. The repair did not merely change a displayed grouping: it corrected the supporting source data, checked rule ordering and added values that would catch the same failure if it returned.

Python and browser-engine validation stayed in parity, while the three-sonnet review reached 21 of 21 intended scheme pairs. The remaining flags were preserved as uncertainty, in line with the methodology, rather than flattened into a claim of exhaustive coverage.

Consequence

The V2 baseline now had a clearer quality signal and the V3 selector could inherit a tested engine. Readers can inspect the user-facing result in Sonnet 116, and later maintenance decisions remain collected in the Build log.
