Your text stays in your browser.

Original Pronunciation Folio is a static client-side tool. It does not send passages entered into the reconstructor to an application server.

Text, links and preferences

Analysis runs locally in the browser. Share links encode the selected or pasted text in the URL fragment—the portion after #—which browsers do not send to the web server in a normal request. Anyone who receives such a link can read the encoded text, so do not use the feature for confidential material.

The light/dark preference is stored in local browser storage. Original Pronunciation Folio does not require an account and does not currently use analytics, advertising scripts or application cookies.

Hosting records

The hosting provider may process ordinary technical request data such as IP address, requested path, timestamp, browser identifier and security events to deliver and protect the site. Those infrastructure records do not include the contents of a URL fragment.

Advertising disclosure

No advertising is active in this preview. If Google AdSense is enabled after approval, this policy and the site will be updated before ads are served. Google and other third-party vendors may then use cookies to serve personalised or non-personalised ads based on prior visits. Visitors will be able to manage personalisation through Google Ads Settings and review industry opt-out choices at aboutads.info. Consent controls will be provided where required.
