The first analysis interface showed the supplied wording, the model’s IPA output and the resulting rhyme groups together so that a result could be inspected rather than merely accepted.
In brief
The interface used one browser code path from input to output, with terminal-word parsing and restored-rhyme highlighting. It retained a readable small-screen layout and a print treatment for classroom use.
Why the panes matter
An Original Pronunciation result needs context. The input text, rendered IPA and rhyme grouping are related evidence, not interchangeable answers. The dual-pane tool therefore exposes the source words and model output side by side, while the group cards show why particular endings have been brought together.
Terminal-word extraction accepts ordinary punctuation and preserves a distinction between modern visual rhyme and the model’s broad phonetic grouping. Readers can use the practical guide to understand the workflow, then compare a focused example such as Sonnet 116.
Consequence
This became the V2 tool baseline: paste, analyse, inspect and share without a server-side dependency. Its accessible presentation was as much part of the feature as its code, and its later changes remain indexed in the Build log.
